Liver Biopsy
  • This is a same day outpatient procedure.
  • It is performed in several different clinical scenarios including:
    • Hepatitis
    • Abnormal liver tests with no clear cause identified
    • To stage the severity of liver scarring
    • To evaluate a mass seen on CT scan or ultrasound
  • We perform this procedure at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, using either ultrasound guidance or CT guidance.
